A cross bay walk will be held to raise money for a life-saving charity this Sunday (July 10).
The North West Air Ambulance Charity cross bay walk starts at 2.30pm (meet at 1.30pm) at Arnside Promenade, followed by a six-mile walk to Grange-over-Sands.
The walk will be held by Michael Wilson, Queen's Guide to the Sands, and will take around three to four hours.
Kelly Stepaniuk, North West regional fundraiser for the charity, visited the Beyond Radio studios to talk about this Sunday's event.

"If you've never done the cross bay walk I really recommend that you do it," said Kelly.
"The views are spectacular and it's such a great experience."

Everyone taking part will receive a T-shirt and there will be face painting for the kids.
Signing up in advance costs £5, and £10 on the day.

The North West Air Ambulance Charity crew delivers specialist and enhanced pre-hospital care to the most critically ill and injured, and transports patients to the most appropriate hospital to achieve the best outcomes for them.
