Supporters of a Lancaster hospice have been rallying round after vandalism to its city centre charity shop.
Hundreds has been raised towards the cost of repairs after damage to the St John's Hospice shop on Penny Street in Lancaster.
The hospice is asking for donations towards the estimated cost of £520 to fix the shop door, after the incident last weekend.
"Some sad news from this weekend – our Penny Street Shop in Lancaster has been vandalised, having one of the door windows broken," said a post on the St John's Hospice Facebook page.
"If you are able, please make a donation today to help with the replacement of the glass and getting our lovely shop back to looking its best.
"Our shops are a vital income stream for St John’s Hospice, helping ensure we can continue to provide care 365 days a year."

St John's Hospice provides end of life care for people across North Lancashire and South Cumbria.
It runs 10 charity shops across Lancaster, Morecambe, Kendal and Garstang, mainly staffed by volunteers.
