Two robbers chased and punched a man who was making his way home in Lancaster before stealing his wallet.
Police are searching for the two men who approached the victim and demanded money at around 6.30am today (Sunday October 9).
After chasing the man they punched him and took his wallet which contained £40 in cash.
The incident took place on South Road near the Pointer Roundabout and the suspects are believed to have come from the direction of Greaves Road.
Police believe the same men approached another person shortly beforehand on Greaves Road, where they also demanded money before leaving the scene.
The suspects are described as a white male, 5 ft 6, dark brown hair, short brown beard, wearing a black T shirt and black pants, and a white male, 6ft, wearing a black zip up hooded top with a white ski mask with a red mark around the mouth area of the mask and black pants.
