A father and son team say they are "raring to go" with their new venture of a microbar and coffee house in Morecambe.
Andy and Tom Coffey are putting the finishing touches to Coffey's Bar on Lancaster Road.
The new premises is due to open on October 28 and the Coffeys say that "everybody is welcome".
Tom has experience in the licensed trade, having worked at The Sun Hotel in Lancaster for five years, while his dad Andy is a former printer and taxi driver.
The microbar will open in a former care home office and church on the corner of Whitby Road, close to the One Stop shop.

"We are local guys born and bred, and Morecambe is 100 per cent on the up," said Andy.
"It's a great place to live and a great place to open a business."
The bar's opening hours will be 8.30am to 10pm and there will be a small outdoor seating area.
It will also be dog-friendly as both Tom and Andy are huge dog-lovers, as you can see from the photo with the family dog Bodie, a beagle-spaniel.

"It will be somewhere where people can come and socialise, feel safe, congregate, nice and small, cosy," said Tom.
"Anybody's welcome and we're really excited to get going.
"We are branding ourselves more as a microbar so we will have background music.
"(We'll sell) craft ales, local beers from local brewers. It's not going down the pub route of loud music and beer that everybody sells. We'll (serve) coffee and cake throughout the day."
Andy said: "We've had a fabulous response and (the locals) have all been wishing us well.
"It's been difficult times for the last two or three years. We thought about it a lot, and hopefully we've come up with the right thing that everybody wants."
