A mum-of-two from Morecambe is set to run beside some of the area's most dangerous roads to campaign for safer driving.
Sophie Bailey wants to raise awareness of the growing number of car crashes in the local area and encourage safer roads for all.
Sophie will be running up to five miles on selected days in February by the side of roads where there have been crashes over the past five years.
They include the Bay Gateway, Morecambe Road, Slyne Road and Westgate, where her family's business Westgate Tyres is based in Morecambe.
"I want to raise awareness of just how fast people drive down this road, we see it on a daily basis," said Sophie.
"People drive more than 30mph past our garage. Not only does it make it dangerous for road users it makes it dangerous for us leaving the garage as well, especially our customers. I just want to try to slow everybody down.
"The last thing I want is for somebody else to become a statistic because somebody can't slow down in their car."

Sophie's run is in aid of RoadPeace, a national charity offering support for victims of road crashes.
RoadPeace provides information and support services to people bereaved or seriously injured in road crashes and campaigns to fight for justice for victims, and reduce road danger.
"I've noticed there has been an increase in road traffic collisions and I want to try to create safer roads for all," said Sophie.
"I'm going to be running down roads where there have been collisions and accidents, just to show that it's not just main roads, it's residential roads as well, where people get hurt.
"If anyone has been affected by a collision, there are people out there who can help you and offer support."

She will be posting regular updates on her Instagram page FreshDriversUK, with video messages and facts about road safety and the roads where she will be running.
Sophie is asking for people to join her on the runs, which begin on February 1, and get involved in her campaign.
She will be raising money for RoadPeace and donations are welcome via her JustGiving page which can be found here.
Sophie and her family run Morecambe tyre company Westgate Tyres which has been in business for just over 25 years.
