Walkers helping to raise £60,000 and counting on the St John's Hospice Moonlight Walk spoke to Beyond Radio during a special live programme from the event.
Beyond Radio hosted a broadcast from the annual walk for the first time, as Luke Edmondson spoke to participants and organisers.
The Moonlight Walk is open to everyone aged 11 and above and is a chance to celebrate anyone you have loved whilst supporting a vital local charity.
The sponsored 16km night time walk around Lancaster and Morecambe took place on Saturday evening, starting and ending at the hospice on Slyne Road in Lancaster, and visited Lancaster Castle en route.
More than £60,000 has been raised at time of writing and donations are still coming in. You can donate HERE.

There was also music from samba drumming group Samba Espirito.
Our special Moonlight Walk programme went out on Beyond Radio at 10pm on Saturday and you can LISTEN AGAIN.
