Excitement was in the air as the new Lancaster edition of the Monopoly board game was officially launched at the Ashton Memorial.
Representatives from Lancaster businesses, organisations, charities and landmarks who feature in the popular property game all gathered at the Memorial on Tuesday morning.
Ella Gibbs from the game makers Winning Moves said: "There's so much excitement.
"I think the local pride here is something I haven't seen. Everyone has been so excited and it's been lovely to see."
Councillor Roger Dennison, mayor of Lancaster, said seeing the city's version of the game was "an absolute joy".
The mayor also said that a life-size version of the Lancaster board would now be auctioned to raise money for the two mayoral charities, St John's Hospice and the Morecambe RNLI.
Beyond Radio was there too, to celebrate our very own square on the Lancaster Monopoly board!
