It's 25 years since the Eric Morecambe Statue was unveiled and on the anniversary - as always - lots of people came from far and wide to have their photos taken with the man himself.
Beyond Radio popped along to the Promenade on a glorious sunny Tuesday afternoon - 25 years to the day since the statue was unveiled by Queen Elizabeth II on July 23 1999.
On such a sunny day there was a steady stream of people wanting to pose with the sculpture of the legendary Morecambe and Wise star.
Most of them were visiting Morecambe and simply had to see the famous landmark, but didn't realise the significance of the day.
Donna from the Isle of Man (pictured with John from Scotland), said: "I've come over today from Morecambe, heading home again from Scotland.
"I've just found out it was the 25th year! He was a fantastic guy. The statue is perfect and it looks like him!"

Chris and Steph from Middlesbrough were visiting Morecambe for the day, while staying in Newby Bridge.
Steph said: "I've never been before but I've seen it on programmes on the TV and I thought it looks beautiful so we thought, why not, while we're in the area.
"The statue is one of the things Morecambe is famous for."

Ethan, William and Pete were visiting from Stoke-on-Trent.
"Eric was so famous and so funny, and Saturday night TV wasn't the same without him and Ernie (Wise)," said Pete, 76.
"It's the second time I've seen the statue and it's lovely."

Alison Beedhan from Morecambe, had her photo taken with members of her family who were visiting from Fraserburgh, Scotland.
Alison was actually at the unveiling on the Promenade 25 years ago.
"It's a good tourist attraction and a lot of people enjoy coming and seeing it," she said.
"All my family have come down and I've got photos of them all (with Eric).
"The day (of the unveiling) was packed and it was really good. I enjoyed seeing the Queen and Eric Morecambe's wife. I loved it."
Eric Morecambe was born John Eric Bartholomew on May 14 1926. He took his stage name of Eric Morecambe from the town of his birth.
Eric, who died in 1984 aged 58, is renowned for his comedy double act with Ernie Wise, who died in 1999.
Morecambe and Wise are among Britain's most loved entertainers of all-time and their 'The Morecambe and Wise Show' TV specials remain enduringly popular today.
