Crews were called out just after 11:10am today (October 20), and four fire engines from Lancaster, Morecambe, and Bolton-le-Sands attended an address on Bowerham Road.
The incident involved a conservatory attached to a domestic property.
Firefighters used six breathing apparatus, two hose reels, and a positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.
One casualty received treatment at the scene before being taken to the hospital by North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) paramedics.
Crews were in attendance for around an hour. A fire investigation is now underway.
