A plane with a Lancaster band on board has been mysteriously tracked by 1.3m people making it the most watched flight in the world.
Lancaster couple David and Holly Blackwell - who perform as The Lovely Eggs - were on board a flight from Guernsey to Manchester returning from a music festival.
Guernsey airline Aurigny said the routine flight on Monday was watched by 1.3m people on the app Flightradar24, making it the most watched flight in the world for its duration.
Flightradar24 tweeted: "This is the most interested anyone has ever been in an ATR 72. And no, we have no idea why."
The airline said speculation for the reason included that the crown jewels or famous celebrities were on board.
The Lovely Eggs joked that the high level of interest must have been because of them!
They posted on their social media: "Over a million people tracked our flight home yesterday.
"Thanks for your concern. Home safe."

The couple had been performing at the Vale Earth Fair, the Channel Islands' longest-running music festival.
Holly Blackwell told Beyond Radio there was no apparent reason why the flight got such levels of attention.
"It was just a normal flight," she said.
"We flew out on the Sunday and came back on the Monday.
"It tickled us. It's nuts. Welcome to the world of the Lovely Eggs where bizarre things happen all the time! It's just another day in Eggland!
"We'll have to do more international tours in future, to see if it was a coincidence."
The Lovely Eggs have released seven studio albums, beginning with 'If You Were Fruit' in 2009.
Their latest release 'Eggsistensialism' in 2024, entered the UK Vinyl Charts at number six.
