Lancaster City will host free CPR training workshops for the public to learn vital life-saving skills.
A one hour CPR and AED (defibrillator) Awareness Workshop course will be delivered by FGH Training at City's home the Giant Axe between 9.30am and 10.30am on Monday February 20.
It’s a course suited for both beginners and those who have previously done first aid training. The workshop will give people an understanding of CPR and how to use a defibrillator so that people can respond to an emergency cardiac situation with confidence.
Those taking part will receive an FGH Training-issued certificate upon completion of the course.
To book your free place for the course, visit here and click on the option for ‘Lancaster Giant Axe’.
This is one of several other initiatives that Lancaster City have announced in their Dollies in the Community programme, including offering free prostate tests in May in support of the Barry Kilby Trust.
