Lancaster City Council step up search for rough sleepers in cold weather

Lancaster City Council has stepped up patrols in rough sleeper hotspots during the current cold snap.

The extra patrols will remind anyone they come across of the danger they are in at this time of year.

Anyone found will be offered shelter and specialist support to try and prevent them from returning to the streets.

Residents and businesses can help to by reporting any concerns about someone you think is living on the street, so support and protection can be offered.

You can report your concerns here www.streetlink.org.uk or by calling 01524 582257 or at weekends when the office is closed - 01524 67099.
