Police in Lancaster say there’s an increase in anti-social behaviour due to lighter nights and warmer weather.
Locally, there are two ‘hot spot’ areas of concern, at Lancaster Bus Station and Happy Mount Park in Morecambe, where patrols have been stepped up.
Among recent incidents, this week a a group of youths pulled a lamp post over in Happy Mount Park, leaving live wires exposed.
Police say this is a serious danger to themselves and other people within the park, and are now appealing to parents that they’re sure they where their children are and to advise them of the dangers of such behaviour.
