A Lancaster takeaway/restaurant and a food club joined forces to feed struggling families and local workers on Christmas Day.
The Sultan Experience on Caton Road gave out free food to people working on December 25, homeless people and those who were finding it hard to afford to cook for their families.
They also delivered to staff working at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary on Christmas Day.
"We are thrilled to share the success of our recent initiative to provide free meals to the homeless and our amazing NHS staff," said a Sultans spokesperson
"Thanks to your generous support, we were able to serve hundreds of meals, bringing warmth and nourishment to those in need.
"The smiles and gratitude we received were truly heartwarming.
"This effort has strengthened our community bonds, and we are grateful to everyone who contributed.
"Let's continue to spread kindness and make a difference together!
"Thank you all for being a part of this journey!"
Julie Seaton from Melbourne Food also thanked the Sultan Experience for providing food to to take to homeless families living in emergency hotel accommodation, people living on the street, St John's Hospice and people working in shops on Christmas Day.

Julie praised the restaurant for "coming to my aid and helping me along with #recoverynorthwest feed the less fortunate on Christmas Day".
"You really are always there as a team whenever this city and surrounding towns and its people need you," she said.
"For this deed of immense kindness myself and Melbourne Food Club - Lancaster shall ever be grateful."
Julie also thanked Thomas Seaton, William Price, Pebbles Shepherd, Andrew Seaton, Philip Osborne and Lisa VO.
She has been running Melbourne Food Club for nearly 10 years and said "never ever have I seen poverty as I am seeing now".
Julie said the emergency accommodation she was seeing for local families was "far from adequate".
"There will be no Christmas for these families, for these children," she said.
"No place to hide Christmas presents for the children, no place, no space for anything.
"No privacy for teenage girls when its needed. Not another room to send a moody child to calm down in. Not another room for a parent to count to 10 after a row. No room, no place.
"Even prisoners are treated with more dignity than this."
