Lancaster shoppers are being invited to play table tennis for free in the city centre thanks to a new pop-up Ping Pong Parlour!
Three table tennis tables have been set up in Marketgate shopping centre and people to just pop in, pick up a bat, and play.
The Ping Pong Parlour can be found next to Bodycare and is open between 10am and 4pm.
Ping Pong Parlours are ‘pop-up’ spaces (usually empty shop units) filled with table tennis tables to provide a fun, accessible venue for passers-by to play ping pong for free.
They are an initiative by Table Tennis England to inspire people to get active and lead happier, healthier lifestyles, and to create a buzz in shopping centres and the High Street.
