Naughty Beyond Bear was locked up for the second year running to help raise funds for the St John's Hospice 'Jail and Bail'.
The Bear joined other 'prisoners' from local organisations who were thrown behind bars in A-wing in Lancaster Castle's former prison on October 22.
Their mission was to raise as much bail money as possible to be released.
The online fundraising page shows that more than £28,000 has been raised as we went to press.
For helping, and despite a brief period 'on the run' in Lancaster, Beyond Bear eventually got an official pardon!
Earlier in the day the prisoners, including Councillor Margaret Pattison, the mayor of Lancaster, were 'arrested' at The Hall coffee shop on China Street, then marched up to the castle where they were fingerprinted and had their 'mug shots' taken before being taken to the cells.

But it was all in good fun, and a fantastic day was had by everyone who took part (below: image St John's Hospice).
