The M6 near Lancaster is set to close overnight for road resurfacing works.
National Highways said the closures would run from Monday June 29 until Saturday July 18, between Junction 33 (Hazelrigg Lane) and Junction 34.
They said road markings will also be renewed.
Closures will be in place from Monday to Friday, 9pm to 6.30am, and Saturdays from 9pm to 7.30am.
During closures, a fully signed diversion will be in place.
On Thursday, Cat Smith, MP for Lancaster & Wyre, posted that there had been a number of incorrect reports stating the work would start at 7pm on weekdays and 7.30pm on Saturdays.
"These reports are out of date," said Ms Smith.
"I contacted National Highways about this last week as I was worried about the impact of a 7pm start for redirecting northbound motorway traffic on Galgate and the A6 one way system.
"They have updated their work schedule to confirm that the works will start from 9pm."
