Man arrested after wagon hits pedestrian in Lancaster city centre

A man was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink/drugs after a wagon hit a pedestrian in Lancaster city centre.

The arrested man, 34, has been released under investigation.

The pedestrian suffered a minor injury, a police spokesperson said.

The incident took place on King Street in Lancaster on Thursday just before 10pm. The road was closed for a time afterwards.
