A man has been charged with a burglary in Bolton-le-Sands and shoplifting offences at a local Co-Op and Aldi.
Brian Cannell, 51, of no fixed abode, was arrested and has been remanded in custody on two counts of theft and one burglary.
Cannell is accused of burgling a property on Hawthorn Road in Bolton-le-Sands at around 7.30am on January 30.
He is also charged with shoplifting at the Co-Op on the Coastal Road in Bolton-le-Sands and Aldi on Marine Road West in Morecambe in late January.
Cannell pleaded guilty to the two theft charges in court on January 31, and will appear again at Lancaster Magistrates Court on February 26.
He will appear at Preston Crown Court on February 28 on the burglary charge, and has not yet entered a plea.
