Man rescued after falling down embankment in Morecambe

Firefighters rescued a person who had fallen down an embankment in Morecambe on Sunday.

A crew from Hornby, along with firefighters from Carnforth were called out at 6.04pm yesterday (July 6) to rescue the person who had fallen around 10 feet down an embankment.

The person only suffered minor injuries, and following the rescue was given first aid and reassurance.

Both crews were made available shortly after handing the person over to the care of the North West Ambulance Service.
