A man suffered a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain after being assaulted in Lancaster city centre.
Officers were called to Cheapside, Lancaster, at approximately 12.10am on Sunday February 4 to a report of assault.
They found that the victim, a man in his 30s, had suffered a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain.
