A man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Morecambe.
Police were called to Kensington Road at 6.45pm today (August 31).
A man in his 50s had suffered stab injuries.
Police said he had been taken to hospital in a very poorly condition.
Kensington Road was sealed off by police at the junction with Euston Road following the incident and enquiries are ongoing.
A police spokesperson said: "We understand people will be concerned about this incident and we want to reassure the public that we have a number of officers in the area carrying out enquiries."
