There were mixed fortunes for two young Morecambe boxers at the national schoolboy amateur championships.
Josh Sharp won his quarter-final in the 41kg class via walk-over and will now compete in the England semi-finals next week.
But Mason Barker suffered a controversial points decision loss in his 50kg quarter-final despite his opponent being given a standing count in the third and final round.
You can watch Mason's bout in the video below, courtesy of Coastal Amateur Boxing. Mason is in the white vest and red headguard.
Both Josh and Mason train at Coastal, based in the Red Rose Community Centre in Morecambe.
They qualified for the national finals by winning their categories at the North West Region England Boxing Schools Championships in April.
