A crime drama filmed in Morecambe and one of its stars have been nominated for National Television Awards to be chosen by the public.
The Bay is one of 29 nominees in the Returning Drama category at the annual awards celebrating the best in TV.
Star Marsha Thomason, who plays DS Jenn Townsend in the programme, is also nominated in the Best Drama Performance category.
The awards ceremony will be held at the O2 in London on September 10 and broadcast on ITV1.
The fifth series of The Bay aired on ITV1 earlier this year.
Since beginning on ITV1 in 2019, The Bay has gained a huge following as a fictional team of Morecambe police try to solve crimes amid the beautiful and sometimes haunting backdrop of the town and the surrounding area.
In the latest series, the police team, led by DI Tony Manning (Dan Ryan), investigated the murder of a young student, Hannah, whose body was found at Glasson Dock.
The show's Lancaster-based writer, Daragh Carville, posted on his X account encouraging people to vote.

"Voting for the National TV Awards is now open with The Bay up for Best Returning Drama and Marsha Thomason for Best Drama Performance," he tweeted.
"Vote vote vote!"
Online voting has opened in 14 categories, also including Reality Competition, New Drama, Quiz Show and Serial Drama.
In another local connection, Morning Live - the BBC1 programme where Lancaster solicitor Gary Rycroft (below) is a regular contributor as a legal expert - has been nominated in the Daytime category.

The closing date for votes is Friday May 30 at 11pm.
