The Homebase store in Morecambe is not on a list of shops up for sale after the DIY giants went into administration.
A total of 74 Homebase stores across the country - not including the Morecambe store on Hillmore Way - are on the market, with a deadline for sale of this Friday (November 29).
HHGL Limited and Hampden Group Ltd, operating under the brand Homebase, entered administration on November 13.
CDS (Superstores International), trading as The Range and wilko, has bought up to 70 other Homebase stores in the UK, saving up to 1,600 jobs.
It has been reported elsewhere that these shops will be rebranded as The Range - a popular home and garden retailer with more than 200 stores nationwide.
Beyond Radio has contacted The Range to ask if the Morecambe outlet is one of them.
A spokesperson said: "At this present time we are not releasing a list of stores."
We have also contacted the joint administrators Teneo Financial Advisory Ltd to ask about the future of the Morecambe store.
Last week a spokesperson said: "All stores remain trading but we will be in touch if that changes."
They have made no further comment.
A statement from the Insolvency Service said: "On 13 November 2024 HHGL Limited and Hampden Group Limited, operating under the brand Homebase, entered administration and Gavin Park, Gavin Maher and Adele Macleod of Teneo Financial Advisory Limited were appointed as Joint Administrators.
"Immediately following the appointment, the Joint Administrators acting for Homebase completed a sale of up to 70 UK stores, the brand and IP to CDS (Superstores International) trading as The Range and wilko, which is expected to secure up to 1,600 jobs.
"Homebase stores will continue to trade until handed over to CDS."
