Morecambe hovercraft station will be an unusual location for a music festival in Morecambe this summer.
The RNLI station near the Stone Jetty will be one of the venues for the Morecambe Music Festival for the first time ever.
The annual music festival will take place in various venues across the town from July 8 to 10.
Live music will come from the hovercraft station on Saturday July 9.
An RNLI spokesperson said: "We are looking for singers, bands or groups of any style who could perform a 45 minute set (not paid).
"If you’re interested please contact Martyn on 07773 904830."
Stuart Michaels, organiser of the festival, said: "It's fantastic to see that we now have something as unique and important as the RNLI contacting us and wanting to be part of such a special weekend.
"They do a great job that is sometimes very unrewarded and it's a pleasure to have something so special as part of the festival."
More festival venues will be announced in May.
Beyond Radio is proud to support Morecambe Music Festival as a media partner.
