A man has been charged with burglary, possession of a knife blade in a public place and a number of other offences in the Morecambe area.
Scott Burns, 24, of Bowland Road, Morecambe, has been charged with burglary of a dwelling house with intent to steal, criminal damage, vehicle interference, theft of a pedal cycle, fraud by false representation, threatening a person with an offensive weapon, and possession of a knife blade in a public place.
He was due to appear before Lancaster Magistrates Court today (June 11).
This follows an arrest made on June 9 after police were called to an address on Hampsfell Drive, Morecambe at 7am, earlier that day, to a report of a burglary.
