Businesses from across Lancaster and Morecambe Bay have been named as finalists in the county's annual tourism awards.
The annual Lancashire Tourism Awards celebrate the very best of Lancashire’s tourism and hospitality sector and are a stepping stone to the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence.
Locally, Bay View Holiday Park, Carnforth is a finalist in the Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park category, while The Georgian & Regency Tour of Lancaster is named in the Experience of the Year shortlist.
In the Large Visitor Attraction category, RSPB Leighton Moss and Morecambe Bay nature reserve, Silverdale is named, while Lancaster’s Toll House Inn is a finalist in Pub of the Year.
Kingfisher Cruises, Lancaster, is shortlisted for the Small Visitor Attraction of the Year prize.
Marketing Lancashire, the county’s Local Visitor Economy Partnership, announced the finalists in the only county-wide awards for tourism and hospitality businesses.
The Lancashire Tourism Awards 2027 ceremony will be held at King George’s Hall in Blackburn on Wednesday 10 February 2027.
Between now and the ceremony next February many of the finalists will be visited by secret shoppers, and all finalists will be interviewed by the Lancashire Tourism Awards expert judges; panels of experienced, impartial, tourism industry and business professionals from Lancashire and beyond.
