Morecambe pub reopens following major refurbishment

A Morecambe pub has reopened its doors after a major refurbishment.

Work has been going on at The Hurley Flyer, on the corner of Westgate and Christie Way near Morecambe Football Club, since April 24.

The grand reopening was scheduled for today, Monday May 23, but after work was completed, the pub reopened early over the weekend.

The refurbishment has cost around £380,000 and the now boasts a complete new look and brand new menu, and is described as having a modern take on the traditional community pub.

The pub is named after the Morecambe hovercraft, also known as the Hurley Flyer.
