Morecambe has been ranked 65th in a list of the best seaside resorts in the UK.
The annual ranking of the best coastal towns was compiled by leading consumer magazine Which?, based on ratings given by visitors to UK seaside towns, villages and resorts.
The resorts were scored on their beaches, seafront or pier, food and drink, tourist attractions, scenery, peace and quiet, and value for money.
Morecambe scored 64 per cent overall, with a three out of five star rating for its beaches, a five star rating for the seafront, two stars for food and drink, two stars for tourist attractions, three stars for scenery, one star for shopping, three stars for peace and quiet, and three stars for value for money.
Blackpool rated lower, coming in at 58 per cent.
The top rated resort was Bamburgh in Northumberland, scoring 87 per cent. The full Top 10 was:

More than 4,300 people gave their ratings for the survey.
Bottom of the table were Skegness and Bognor Regis, scoring 49 per cent.
The top rated Lancashire resort was Lytham St Annes, coming in 12th with 79 per cent.
Grange-over-Sands in Cumbria was ranked 54th with 68 per cent.
