A head cook who served more than a million meals to children at a Morecambe primary school has been wished a happy retirement on her final day.
Jayne King is retiring after more than two decades of running the kitchen at Great Wood Primary School on Beaufort Road and served her final meals on Thursday.
On Thursday morning, Mrs King was wished a happy retirement by the children, was awarded Star of the Decades, rang the school bell and was sung to by the pupils, to the tune of 'Food Glorious Food' - written by Mrs Bartlett.
She was also joined by former colleagues and supervisors.
Here is Mrs King serving during her final week and ringing the school bell.
