A six-year-old Morecambe boy has smashed his fundraising target while on an 84-mile trek along Hadrian's Wall to raise money for his school.
Fraser Manley is on his way from Bowness-on-Solway to Wallsend and has already beaten his target of £1,900, raising £2,390 as we went to press.
Fraser is taking part in the fundraiser to help Westgate Primary School get some new books for its library.
The £1900 target came about because Hadrian's Wall is 1900 years old this year.
Fraser is being helped en route by family and friends.
The school has been posting updates from Fraser's dad Miles on the Westgate Primary School Facebook page.
Tuesday's update said: "Fraser has now done 64 miles, just 20 to go.
"Yesterday, he smashed the target and the current total was £1980 and rising. His football team joined him yesterday along with some classmates. Ten miles today alone in this hot weather!"
Fraser travelled back home to watch Morecambe FC beat Stoke City in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night, then was back on his walk on Wednesday!
THURSDAY UPDATE: Fraser completed the walk on Thursday, when the total reached £2,790. He ended up walking 93 miles in total, including 13.4 on the final day!
