Pop music legend Gilbert O'Sullivan has postponed his scheduled gig in Lancaster this Saturday (April 9) due to illness.
The 1970s star was due to play at the Lancaster Grand but informed fans that he's come down with "a nasty viral infection".
The show has now been rescheduled for Tuesday July 12 at 7.30pm. All ticket holders have been contacted by the Grand box office team and all seats have been moved to the new date.
O'Sullivan, 75, known for his hits including 'Claire', 'Get Down' and 'Alone Again (Naturally), said: "I am saddened to say that due to illness I am going to have to postpone.
"I have come down with a nasty viral infection and woke up this morning with no voice.
"It will take me a little while to recover before I can sing again.
"Letting my fans down like this and with such short notice is something I hate doing, but when it comes to my health it is completely out of my control."
Tickets for the gig in July cost £32.50 (premium) and £28.50 (standard).
