A new ‘barbeque style’ restaurant has opened its doors in the West End of Morecambe.
Rebel Waltz, on the junction of Marine Road West and Regent Road in the West End, serves a selection of dishes, using local ingredients, all cooked on a wood fired and charcoal custom built oven.
Owner and head chef, Darren Tate, said: ‘’My style as a highly experienced chef is still true to my roots of modern British cuisine.
‘’I am personally very mindful of the natural environment therefore food will be cooked using mainly wood and charcoal as well as all ingredients locally sourced and responsible.
‘’Rebel Waltz is not your average restaurant in the area.
‘’The menu will change frequently due to the change of seasons and availability of products, and dishes will be carefully planned and intriguing, competitively priced in a laid back and relaxing environment.’’
The restaurant, which is located in the former Candy Corner sweet shop, is open Wednesdays - Sundays, times vary and include lunch, daytime and evening meals and breakfasts on weekends.
