A new restaurant serving Middle Eastern cuisine looks set to open in a former Lancaster book shop.
Work has been taking place to transform the former Waterstones at 2-8 King Street into the new Misso Lounge.
People walking past the premises have remarked on how beautiful the interior is looking, as work appears to be nearing completion.
The book shop closed in 2020.
Misso Box, serving Arabic cuisine with a twist, opened as a takeaway and delivery service in Lancaster in April 2022.

Owners also joined forces with the Royal Kings Arms Hotel to launch ‘The Secret Garden of Babylon’, an outdoor garden featuring a marquee and serving Misso Box's menu, drinks, and shisha.
We have contacted the Misso Lounge for comment.
