Morecambe town centre has welcomed a brand new pet supplies shop.
Bark and Purr opened last week on the Euston Road shopping precinct, opposite Specsavers.
The shop, selling pet accessories and food, is run by Helen Sanderson and Gary Harrington.
They also run a large stall on Fleetwood Market, which remains open until September, and they plan to open another new shop in Mallorca next year.
Bark and Furr stocks wet or dry food, animal bedding, bird feeders, dog beds and cushions, litter trays, leads, collars and harnesses, pet toys and much more.
It does not stock animals although Helen said she hopes to bring in some chicks for the shop.
They also plan to stock raw and live food in future.
Morecambe's long-running pet shop on Queen Street, Blanco's, closed earlier this year after 45 years due to retirement.
