A new vinyl record store will open in Lancaster city centre next month.
Martin Collins and Liz Crane are the owners of the new 'Forty Five Records' opening in Kings Arcade on November 11.
Forty Five records will sell new and pre-owned vinyls, covering many genres and artists from modern-day superstars like Adele, Harry Styles and Taylor Swift, to classics from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
The new shop will also sell wall art and other products, including candles, for people who enjoy listening to music.
Kings Arcade is located on King Street in the city centre (picture below).

Forty Five Records will open next to the Leonardini Italian gelato shop.

Martin is a lifelong music fan whose dad Julian used to be a manager at Crystal T's nightclub in Morecambe.
"As a kid I'd always look through the DJs' records at the club and sometimes put some on," he said.
"There was always music playing in the house. I've been buying vinyl since I was about 15 and I started DJing at around that time.
"Liz has been around vinyl her whole life too and her dad has played in local bands The Devious Soul Machine and The Midnights, which he is still playing in now."
Martin also used to work in the old Blue Tubes skate board shop on King Street, so was influenced by spending time in the nearby Proper Records record store.
Recently he started an online vinyl-selling website and then decided it was "now or never" to open a shop.
"Vinyl sales have gone up and up over the past five years, and we've got that great music history in Lancaster," said Martin.
"I've always wanted to open a record shop and the time seems right.
"We want to create somewhere that's welcoming to everybody."
