Fire crews were called out to tackle a blaze at a flat in Heysham in the early hours of this morning.
Appliances from Lancaster, Morecambe, and Bolton-le-Sands attended the fire at an address on Marlborough Road, shortly before 3:25am.
Firefighters rescued one casualty who received treatment.
Crews used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and a positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.
They were in attendance for an hour.
