The popular Big Wheel has gone up ahead of the opening of this year's Lancaster On Ice skating rink.
Work has been going on this week to get Lancaster city centre's popular outdoor ice rink ready for its grand opening next week.
The ever-popular ice rink will be open from November 23 until January 5.
As well as ice skating and the Ferris Wheel, there will also be food and drink stalls, music, mulled wine and a warm and cosy Tipi.
Tickets have also gone on sale HERE.
Lancaster On Ice is the brainchild of Hannah and Martin Horner from the nearby Borough pub.
Since 2018 it has become a fixture of the Christmas season in Lancaster, including stalls with food and drink and a Big Wheel, as well as the ice rink surrounding the Queen Victoria Memorial.
In 2019 Lancaster on Ice won the Lancaster Tourism Award for best Large Event.
Here are photos of the giant Ferris Wheel and work on getting the ice rink ready, taken on Friday, November 15.
