The 20th Morecambe kite festival brought people out onto the Promenade in droves to fly kites and enjoy a weekend of entertainment.
The 'Catch the Wind' event was hugely popular with families on Saturday and Sunday.
The festival is organised by More Music, the Morecambe community music organisation celebrating its 30th birthday this year.
Saturday afternoon, which had the best of the weekend's weather, was busy with kite-flyers and spectators on the seafront and beach, as you can see from our photos.

Kites of all shapes and sizes included a giant Snoopy and Super Mario characters, as well as snakes and rockets!

There was also live music, street theatre, entertainment and workshops for families.
