Spectacular images show the northern lights over the local area as huge numbers of people tried to get a glimpse of the natural wonder.
The astrological phenomenon could be seen over the UK over the past two nights, particularly on Sunday evening.
The aurora was visible over North Lancashire and south Cumbria, and as far south as Cornwall, and there were also sightings in Northern Ireland, south Wales and Norfolk.
An aurora is formed by a solar flare erupting on the Sun, sending charged particles towards Earth which interact with our atmosphere.
Cloudy skies limited Monday night's view, although this didn't stop huge numbers of people from parking up at vantage points hoping to see the lights.
Jubilee Tower near Lancaster and the shore at Bolton-le-Sands were particularly busy on Monday evening.
Here are some of your photos of the aurora over our local area, shared on the Beyond Radio Facebook page.

Viewing on Monday evening was more difficult due to cloud cover, but some people were able to capture a glimpse.
