Plans have gone in to convert a former bike shop in Morecambe into residential flats.
The proposals are at the former Smalley's store at 104 Euston Road, which has been closed for several years.
Lancaster City Council has been asked to grant planning permission for the building to become six self-contained flats.
New front bay windows and re-roofing of a detached out-building are also proposed.
A statement submitted with the plans says: "The proposed works will maintain the traditional appearance of the building, a new two-three storey bay window to front with careful attention paid to the windows and doors to retain the visual harmony with neighbouring properties."

The planning application is by Amjid Hussain of Zane Properties Limited.
The full proposal is a 'change of use and conversion of existing shop with living accommodation above into 5 self contained flats (C3) and existing outbuilding into 1 self-contained flat (C3) with replacement roof to outbuilding, alterations to windows and doors and erection of 3 storey front extension to create bay windows'.
Smalley's was a well known bike and pram shop in Morecambe for many years until its closure a few years ago.
More recently the shop was home to Euston's Vintage but has been shut for some time.
