Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was knocked unconscious in an assault on a Lancaster city centre street.
The incident happened at around midnight on Sunday July 14 into Monday July 15 on Cheapside.
A group of males were approached by another group and a man was assaulted.
An ambulance was called as the man was knocked unconscious and had bleeding from his ears.
Det Insp Adie Knowles of Lancaster Police, speaking on 'Beyond the Beat' on Beyond Radio, said the man's injuries were not as serious as first thought.
Det Insp Knowles said police were looking for three suspects who were fighting in the Cheapside area.
The first one is described as a white male wearing a lime green sports top, approximately 23 years old, 5ft 11 with a muscular build and short to medium dark hair, wearing shorts and trainers.
The second is described as a taller white male in a dark top, shorts and trainers, with dark hair.
The third is described as a shorter white male, wearing a dark top, shorts and trainers, with dark hair.
