Police are appealing for information after a teenage girl was hit by car that then failed to stop on Morecambe promenade.
They’ve just revealed details of the incident, which happened at around 10pm on Friday, April 21.
A seventeen-year-old girl was crossing Marine Road West at its junction with Regent Road towards the promenade.
A dark coloured vehicle, possibly a Range Rover or Land Rover, hit the female travelling in a direction away from The Battery, before going straight ahead towards the old Frontierland site.
She was left traumatised with cuts, bumps and bruises.
It is believed two men stopped to help but their details were not obtained.
If anyone has any information, they can contact PC Mark Finch on mark.finch@lancashire.police.uk or phone 101, quoting log number LC-20230421-1632.
