Police have issued CCTV of two people they want to speak in connection with an assault and theft on the Lancaster Canal last month.
Back on May 17, a cyclist was assaulted near the canal at Hest Bank by two men - one armed with a screwdriver - who then stole his bike.
Police were called to Hest Bank Lane, Hest Bank to a report of a robbery.
A police spokesperson said the male cyclist, 49, was cycling along the canal towpath when he was approached by two suspects close to Rushley Drive.
They threatened and punched him before taking the bike and heading in the direction of Carnforth.
Now, further enquires have identified two males as people of interest in the investigation, and officers are seeking information to identify and trace them, in relation to this incident.
