The police have asked the public to report anti-social behaviour while highlighting the powers they have to deal with trouble 'hot-spots' across the district.
If residents experience or witness anti-social behaviour, they can report it using an online form here or for urgent incidents, call police on 101.
Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) are in place in several areas of the district, including Lancaster city centre, Morecambe town centre, Happy Mount Park, Heysham village and Williamson Park.
PSPOs provide police and authorised officers with additional powers to crack down on behaviour which is causing ‘annoyance, harassment, alarm or distress’.
There are also extra measures to stop people drinking alcohol on the streets and to confiscate it if necessary, and to prevent people possessing or taking ‘psychoactive substances’, including nitrous oxide.
