Police captured an escaped goat after a lengthy chase through Lancaster led to traffic chaos.
Members of the public reported seeing the animal on the loose in the Bowerham area over the weekend.
Officers chased the goat through Bowerham on Sunday and it was eventually captured on Wyresdale Road close to Williamson Park, where the Highest Point festival was taking place.
Earlier, the goat had been spotted in the Lancaster Auction Mart car park, on Quernmore Road near the cemetery, in the Rutland Avenue/Palatine Avenue area of Bowerham, and near Moorside Primary School.
"After a lengthy pursuit through Bowerham and down to Wyresdale Road, causing traffic chaos, we are relieved to say we caught the evasive goat who we have affectionately named Houdini!" said a post on the Lancaster Area Police Facebook page.
"He got a few butts in but it's safely away to the wonderfully amazing Wolfwood (animal rescue centre in Lancaster).
"Humongous thanks to them and to the equally fab gent at The Ashton for transporting Houdini safely.
"Other than being scared, our new friend seems well and unhurt."
Beyond Radio has asked Lancaster Police if there are any details of where the goat escaped from.

*The Lancaster Ghostbusters team of cosplayers - Simon and Rowena Hogg - also posted on Facebook that they had also been called out to the case of the escaped goat!

"We were called out to Williamson Park this morning after reports of a problem ghost being spotted in Fenham Carr," they said on Sunday.
"After some investigation we discovered the unwanted visitor was actually a goat!
"Sadly, goats are not our speciality...
"Who ya gonna call? #Goatbusters."
