Police have advised Morecambe seafront shops to be on their guard as they continue to investigate a spate of burglaries on the Promenade.
This follows burglaries at The Bra Shop and the Crown Hotel on Marine Road Central, and attempted break-ins at Pleasureland and the Festival Market.
"We are investigating a number of recent burglaries targeting businesses in Morecambe, mainly on and near to the seafront in the town centre," said a Morecambe Area Police spokesperson.
"We would ask all shop, cafe and hotel owners in this area to ensure their premises are locked and secured, CCTV is working and any cash is removed from the premises overnight.
"We have increased our patrols in this area and are working hard to identify those responsible.
"If you are in the area overnight then please be vigilant to anyone loitering in the area or acting suspiciously and report them on 101 (or 999 if you suspect they are actively trying to break in).
"Anyone with information on who the offenders are can report this anonymously on Crime Stoppers online or 0800 555 111."
Det Insp Adie Knowles of Lancashire Police spoke about the incidents on his regular 'Beyond the Beat' on Beyond Radio this week.
"I am not suggesting that these incidents are linked, but it's no coincidence they are all Prom business burglaries and they are all looking for stock of some value," he said.
"If anyone saw anything suspicious around where The Bra Shop is on Marine Road, on the weekend of January 18-21, let us know."
The Bra Shop at 300 Marine Road Central had to close down last month after virtually all of its stock was stolen.
A large amount of bras and briefs, prosthesis bras and nightwear were taken - with only a small number of bras left behind.
Owner Dawn Fleming-Burt told Beyond Radio: "I can't carry on trading there. I've nothing to sell. They've taken everything.
"They took all the stock on the rails, around £2000 wholesale, and all the deliveries we received last Thursday, around £3000 worth at an estimate. They were still in the boxes.
"We think it was pre-planned.
There were attempts to break in to the Crown Hotel on Marine Road Central, during the nights of January 7 and January 12.
Police previously launched an appeal after the Crown was burgled overnight on December 17 and 18, and alcohol was stolen from the bar.
CCTV footage shows an offender in a while coat with the hood up putting bottles of alcohol into a bag, see below.

Det Insp Knowles said there had been similar attempts to break in to Pleasureland amusement arcade and the Festival Market.
He said the Pleasureland incident, where someone tried to prise the doors open to get in, happened on Sunday January 12 between 8.30am and 9am.
Someone damaged a lock at the Festival Market trying to get in to the premises, at around 5.15am on January 5.
