Police in Lancaster are investigating a number of burglaries and break ins in a Lancaster suburb.
Lancaster Area Police have received a report of a burglary on Ashton Rd and Bowerham Road, in addition to a report of a garage and shed break on Bowerham Road over the last two nights.
PCSO Matt Thornton said: ‘’Police will be in the area conducting house-to-house and CCTV and providing reassurance and crime prevention advice to local residents.
‘’This is part of our burglary awareness initiative – Operation Defender, which is used to tackle and prevent residential burglaries.
‘’Anyone with any information relating to these crimes can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or on-line at crimestoppers-uk.org.
