A man has been arrested as police continue to investigate two burglaries in Heysham.
The burglaries, the first occurring at a property in the area some time between January 4 and 12 where jewellery, cash and a safe were taken; and the other on School Road on January 10, where cash, jewellery and watches were taken from a property; are believed to be linked.
A 23-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of both burglaries, and bailed pending further enquiries.
